The Ohio State Highway Patrol has seized $137,000 worth of heroin during a traffic stop in Findlay.

The Patrol says troopers stopped at vehicle with Virginia registration for speeding in southbound I-75 early Sunday morning. A search of the vehicle revealed two pounds of heroin located under the air filter in the engine compartment.

The driver, Christopher Triplett, 42, of Detroit, MI, was arrested and charged with possession of heroin, a first-degree felony. If convicted, he could face up to 10 years in prison and up to a $20,000 fine.
