Toledo To Scale Back Water Testing

Toledo To Scale Back Water Testing
Posted Thursday, September 4th 2014 @ 5pm

The city of Toledo is scaling back its water testing efforts. Toledo News Now reports that the Collins Park Water Treatment Plant will now test for microcystins twice a week. The plant had been running daily tests since last month.

The city has met requirements from the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency to stop daily testing. The EPA says the city now only has to test twice a week, but tests will be performed every other day at the water treatment plant.
