Man Arrested In Shooting Of TPD Officer

TOLEDO, Ohio - A man has been arrested and charged in connection with a shooting that has left a Toledo Police officer in critical condition.

WTOL 11 reports Jamaine Hill has been charged with three counts of felonious assault on police officer. Hill is accused with shooting Officer Jason Picking Thursday morning. The shooting occurred just after 2 a..m.  in the 4100 block of Caroline Ave. while a SWAT team was executing a search warrant at Hill's home. 

Picking is in critical but stable condition at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center.
