Michelle Money Provides Hopeful Update About Daughter On Life Support

Michelle Money revealed her daughter, Brielle, is “doing well” as she remains on life support.

On Monday (April 6), the Bachelor alum provided fans with a hopeful health update on the 15-year-old, who suffered serious brain trauma and a fractured skull last week following a skateboarding accident. Days after tearfully imploring fans to keep Brielle in their prayers as the teen’s brain pressure continued to rise, Michelle revealed her daughter’s recovery “seems to be heading in the right direction where we will not need to take other measures to keep this pressure down.”

“We are waiting to see that number get down into the single digits and stay there for a solid day before taking her off these meds keeping her sedated,” the reality star captions a series of nostalgic images of Brielle on Instagram. “In typical Brie fashion, she is doing things her way! 😉 I am honoring that process as best as I can. We all miss her and wish we were goofing off together, but she needs to do what works for her and her body right now.”

Amid this process, Michelle believes “Brielle is healing not only her physical body, but her spirit as well. She has been through so much and experienced a lot of pain that I think she is sorting out right now.”

Considering her daughter’s brain pressure is beginning to stabilize, Michelle is “feeling a lot more stable and confident and secure” that Brielle will pull through. “I think it’s definitely because I feel very strongly that she’s not gonna die,” she added of the teenager. “This whole week, every single day … has been torture. But I feel like with the progress we’re making, she is gonna come out of this.”

As of yet, Brielle remains in the ICU in a medically-induced coma at Intermountain Healthcare's Primary Children's Hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah.
