A LOT of Marvel news was unveiled at San Diego Comic Con over the weekend. Here are the highlights
* Angelina Jolie was there and announced that she’ll be starring in The Eternals about a race of immortal aliens sent to Earth to protect humans.
* Natalie Portman announced She’s the new female Thor for the 4th installment of the Thor franchise, Thor Love and Thunder, out November 5, 2021.
* Scarlett Johansson confirmed a Black Widow stand alone film in theaters May 1, 2020.
* Doctor Strange 2 in theaters May 7, 2021.
* LOKI, an original series with Tom Hiddleston. Streaming exclusively on Disney+, Spring 2021. The series will show what happens to Loki (Tom Hiddleston) after “Avengers: Endgame.”
* HAWKEYE, an original series with Jeremy Renner. Streaming exclusively on Disney+, Fall 2021.
It was also announced that Avengers Endgame has officially ended Avatar‘s 10-year reign as the highest-grossing film in history. The film has grossed over $280 million in the U.S. and over $800 million worldwide.
