Tennis star Roger Federer kept a pinky promise he made to a young fan 5 years ago.
In 2017, Izyan Ahmad, known to most as "Zizou", challenged Federer to a match during the U.S. Open press conference. He said “Can you please continue to play for eight, nine years so that I can play you when I go pro?"
"Yes," Federer replied, laughing.
"Is that a promise?" Zizou followed up.
"Pinky promise," Federer said with a smile.
Last week, Roger Federer fulfilled that promise.
Zizou thought he was flying to Switzerland for training. Moments after arriving at the tennis courts, Federer walks out and challenges Zizou to a tennis match.
