San Francisco just officially banned customers bringing their own bags, mugs or other reusable items from home. These measures are being taken to prevent unnecessary contact.
Starbucks has also ban customers on bringing in reusable cups for the safety of employees. According to Mark Murray who is the executive director of Californians Against Waste, he stated " The fear of bringing reusable bags into the stores is misguided, but I certainly understand why store employees don't want to handle somebody else's things."
