If you watch at the 1:08 mark, you can clearly see the shark spot the guy, turn and head in the same direction! As the surfer states, he had "seen a few Great Whites in the area before." OK, what was he thinking? Besides, aren't sharks supposed to be playing cellos to alert you they are close by?
