After 27 years, Crayola says goodbye to this Crayon color

Artists who like to color pictures of dandelions are out of luck. Crayola has revealed that the crayon color being retired is Dandelion yellow.

The company announced earlier this week it was getting rid of one color from its 24-box but wasn't going to reveal which one until today, which is National Crayon Day. But they confirmed the retired color last night after a Twitter user noticed a box of crayons at Target that was missing the Dandelion.

The Dandelion color has been around for 27 years and will be replaced by a new color which will be revealed later. (BBC)
