#GoodNews: Walmart Employee Saves Man From Drowning While on Break

Harry Ulmer works overnight shifts at a South Philadelphia Walmart, and during his 2am break, he heard screams coming from a nearby pier. The fence to the pier of the Delaware River was locked, so he hopped it and found a man struggling in the water.

He was out of reach, so Harry ran back to his car to get some rope, called 911, then broke off a tree branch and tied the rope to it. He threw it to the man and pulled him safely back to dry land. First responders arrived soon after and took the man to the hospital, where he was treated for hypothermia.

Harry calls the whole thing a miracle because he took his break later than usual, which put him in the right place at the right time to hear the calls for help.
