Kelly Clarkson nodded to another former American Idol champ with her latest “Kellyoke” cover. Clarkson delivered her rendition of Carrie Underwood’s “Blown Away” on The Kelly Clarkson Show in a video shared on Thursday (July 25).

“Blown Away” serves as the title track of Underwood’s fourth full-length studio album that released in 2012. It remains one of her most-played songs on iHeartRadio today, along with “Out Of That Truck,” “Before He Cheats” “Undo It” and other career-spanning hits. Blown Away also included “Good Girl,” “Two Black Cadillacs,” “See You Again” and other highlights appearing on the 14-track record, in addition to the anthem about a twister raging through Oklahoma:

“Shatter every window 'til it's all blown away/ Every brick, every board, every slamming door blown away/ ’Til there's nothing left standing/ Nothing left of yesterday/ Every tear-soaked whiskey memory blown away, blown away, blown away”

Clarkson’s cover of Underwood’s “Blown Away” — fittingly, arriving shortly after Twisters made its highly-anticipated premiere with a star-studded soundtrack — is her latest performance of a country song on her show. Previously, Underwood put her spin on current and classic country songs by Lainey Wilson, George Strait, Shania Twain, John Michael Montgomery, Reba McEntire, The Judds, Keith Urban and many more.
