Jennifer Aniston is happy in love with her new boyfriend Jim Curtis and she has the stamp of approval from someone surprising — her ex-husband Justin Theroux.

The Morning Show star hard launched her relationship with the hypnotherapist over the weekend, sharing a sweet photo of her hugging her beau alongside a caption celebrating his birthday. Aniston and Curtis first sparked romance rumors in July when they were seen on a private getaway in Mallorca with her friend and actor Jason Bateman and his wife, Amanda Anka.

Following the official relationship reveal, many fans and friends supported the move by leaving comments and "liking" the post, including Theroux, who was one of the 1.5 million users to like the snap, per Page Six.

Aniston and Theroux were married from 2015 to 2018, and they seemingly have remained friendly despite going their separate ways. The Leftovers actor has since moved on with now-wife Nicole Brydon Bloom, whom he married in March 2025.

Theroux's public show of support may not actually be as surprising as one might think as, according to Aniston's longtime friend Reese Witherspoon during a recent Armchair Expert podcast appearance, she is "not a burner of bridges," Page Six reports.

Theroux was Aniston's second marriage. The Friends alum was previously married to Brad Pitt from 2000 until their split in 2005.
