Gloria Vanderbilt, iconic fashion designer, died yesterday at the age 95 after battling stomach cancer. Vanderbilt's son, CNN's Anderson Cooper, pays tribute to his mother's life. He has the perspective on her life that no one else had. She was New York royalty, lived her life on her own terms, thriving through the good, the bad, riches and in poverty. Anderson Cooper, her son, said his mother always pressed on, always worked hard and always believed the best was yet to come. Love is what she believed in more than anything. What an extraordinary life, and extraordinary woman and mom.
