It has always amazed me that comedians seem to also make very very good serious actors that take on serious roles with such power. Adam Sandler takes on a more serious role than usual in the upcoming Safdie brothers thriller, “Uncut Gems.” The trailer for the upcoming film just dropped, featuring a slew of stars and introducing fans to Sandler’s character Howard Ratner, a New York City jeweler who acquires a rare gemstone with mysterious powers. This may be a movie I we put in our "must see" list for the holiday movie season. “Uncut Gems” hits theaters in December.
