We went to a corn maze for the first time!

So this year Carla and I decided to embrace the tradition here in the Midwest of going to a corn maze at Halloween. We've done haunted woods, haunted houses, haunted trails, hay rides, etc, but NEVER a corn maze...so why not, what could go wrong, right? Well, we decided to do the 1.1 mile long maze because we are novices at this sort of thing and figured the longer ones might be a bit too much of a challenge. Good thing we decided to do the "short" one. Actually, we only go confused and sidetracked once, and yes we were passed by several 8 year olds along the way!
