Sometimes when we all feel that that the world seems to be "going to Hell in a hand basket," complete strangers step in to help someone in grave need/danger. In what can only be described as the power of people and compassion...the headline says it all. Tonight at Delancey and Norfolk in the Lower East Side an accident ran over a pedestrian trapping them under an SUV. Onlookers just lifted the SUV, dragging the victim out. Update: The woman was okay and alert and looking at her phone after.Even better? No one stuck around to try to take credit or be in the spotlight.
