A memorial service for slain Toledo Police Officer Anthony Dia is set for Tuesday morning at Savage Arena on the University of Toledo campus. The Dia family has decided service will be limited to the Dia family, their faith-based community, police officers and fire personnel only. TPD has shared that the Dia family continues to express gratitude to everyone who has offered condolences. Officer Dia's burial will take place at Toledo Memorial Park in Sylvania. Dia was a member of the Imam Ali Mosque in Lambertville. According to the mosque, the timeline and location of events is as follows:

Location: John F. Savage Arena in Toledo, 2025 North Douglas Road in the University of Toledo campus
Ceremony and memorial service: 10 a.m.
Burial procession: Leave Savage Arena at 12 p.m.
Burial: Toledo Memorial Park, 6382 Monroe St., Sylvania
Procession Route
The funeral procession will be traveling west from Douglas to Monroe St. to the entrance of Toledo Memorial Park.
The procession is expected to be in excess of 3 miles long and will close all westbound traffic on Monroe St. between city limits and Toledo Memorial Park. The arrival time at the park is estimated to be between 12:30 p.m. and 1 p.m.
Exit time is estimated to be around 2:00 p.m. and drivers are urged to avoid the area due to the amount of anticipated traffic.
Eastbound Monroe will remain open.
Citizens are encouraged to line the sidewalks along Monroe St. to pay their respects to Officer Dia.
